Delaware Regional Sea Perch Competition at Delaware State University

We are in the process of planning the first Delaware Regional Sea Perch Competition at Delaware State University. If you recall, the SeaPerch program is an innovative underwater robotics programs that equips teacher and students with the resources they need to build as underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) from a kit comprised of low-cost, easily accessible parts. It exposes students to engineering principles, problem solving, teamwork, tool safety, design, and competition.

The Navy is hosting a kickoff event at Delaware State University on Oct 23, 2017 5:00-7:00pm, in the MLK multipurpose room. At this event we will be answering questions about the regional and national competitions, and distributing robotics kits. The regional competition is scheduled for  April 14, 2018 at DSU.
