2018 Delaware Mathematics Coalition's Breaking Down the Barriers: Equity & Access in the Mathematics Classroom Conference

Event Date:
Apr 28 2018 - 9:00am
Registration is now open for the Delaware Mathematics Coalition's Breaking Down the Barriers: Equity & Access in the Mathematics Classroom Conference. The conference is being held on Saturday April 28th at the Colwyck Professional Development Center in New Castle DE.
Thank you to Delaware State University and the DMC's new NCSM affiliate, the Delaware Council of Mathematics Leaders for
co-hosting the conference with us. Keynote and plenary speakers for the conference include co-founder of DESMOS Eli Luberoff and mathematics leader and coaching expert Lucy West (Metamorphosis Teaching Learning Communities) along with an impressive lineup of facilitators from partnership districts, institutes of higher education, Delaware Department of Education, and experts at the national level. Please see the attached flyer and registration form for more details.
In the upcoming weeks, we will be sending out a more detailed program for the day. Sessions will provide meaningful opportunities for K-20 educators, business leaders, and community members to consider ways we can individually and collectively address the barriers to success in the mathematics classroom!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
Jamila, on behalf of the DMC Executive Board
